Final Fantasy Resonance

Final Fantasy Resonance: HD-2D Design, Crystals, and the World of Lapis
Final Fantasy Resonance adapts the first story arc of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, a mobile title that ended service in 2024, into a standalone console RPG with rewritten scenarios and restructured events. Square Enix and LANCARSE built the game around HD-2D presentation, which fuses pixel-art character sprites with modern lighting and environmental depth. The visual approach positions it between a Super Nintendo RPG and a current-gen production. All main scenario scenes are fully voiced, which makes casting a structural part of the experience and not an afterthought.
Voice Cast: Rain, Lasswell, Fina and Veritas
The Final Fantasy Resonance voice cast is built around contrast. Clifford Chapin voices Rain, the Grandshelt knight who charges before his judgment catches up, Chapin plays Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia, a role defined by exactly that impulsive energy. Alejandro Saab plays Lasswell, Rain’s calmer adopted brother who reins him in. Saab voices Jing Yuan in Honkai: Star Rail, and the same cool authority he brings there fits Lasswell’s measured approach. Lizzie Freeman voices Fina, the mysterious girl who joins them after Grandshelt falls, drawing on her Genshin Impact work with characters who reveal little on the surface. Ian Sinclair plays Veritas of the Dark, the armored antagonist who opens the game by shattering the Earth Crystal. His credits include Brook in One Piece and Whis in Dragon Ball Super.
