Dark Fina

Beneath Fina's gentle, amnesiac exterior lives a far older soul — and Dark Fina is that soul given form. The true identity hidden behind Fina's blank memories, she is the white-haired sorceress who waged war on behalf of the Hess people in their struggle for independence from Aldore, and whose presence looms over the world of Lapis with the weight of centuries.

Dark Fina’s Power and Presence in Final Fantasy Resonance

Where Fina is soft and searching, Dark Fina is sharp-tongued and formidable. Armed with devastating offensive magic and an acerbic wit she wields just as precisely, she carries herself with a cold authority that makes every scene she steps into feel charged. Her whip, Empress Birch – its tip carved into the shape of a snake’s head – speaks to her aesthetic of controlled menace. Beneath that armor of barbs and bravado, though, a fierce determination runs through her that even centuries of war could not erode. Her relationship with the younger Fina is one of the game’s most layered threads: two halves of the same person, separated by lost memory, slowly reaching toward something neither can quite name.

Who Voices Dark Fina in Final Fantasy Resonance?

Corey Pettit brings Dark Fina to life in the English dub – a Texas-based voice actress whose range stretches from the vicious Aura the Guillotine in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End to the grotesque menace of the Leech Devil in Chainsaw Man, making her a natural fit for a character who balances elegance with an edge of genuine danger. On the Japanese side, Inori Minase reprises the role she originated in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius – a performer already beloved worldwide for voicing Rem in Re:Zero: Starting Life in Another World, a character who, not unlike Dark Fina herself, hides extraordinary depth beneath a composed surface.
