Lizzie Freeman

Lizzie Freeman’s Rise From Oklahoma to Animation’s Biggest Stages
What started with high school drama productions and indie game voice work in 2012 has grown into one of the most recognizable careers in English-language dubbing. Oklahoma City-raised Lizzie Freeman spent her earliest years building credits in small titles like Dust: An Elysian Tail and online animations, long before major studios came calling. The move to Los Angeles in 2016 changed everything – within a few years, she was booking roles across anime, video games, and web animation simultaneously.
Trish Una and the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Breakthrough
The role that put Freeman on the map for anime fans was Trish Una in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind. Voicing a mob boss’s daughter navigating betrayal and self-discovery demanded emotional range across wildly shifting tones – and the performance landed. That credit opened doors throughout the late 2010s, leading to a string of prominent dub roles: Chisato Nishikigi in Lycoris Recoil, Chizuru Ichinose in Rent-A-Girlfriend, Kotoko Iwanaga in In/Spectre, and Yanfei in Genshin Impact, among others.
Pomni, Sparkle, and a New Wave of Recognition
The 2023 debut of The Amazing Digital Circus introduced Freeman to a completely new audience. As Pomni – a terrified newcomer trapped inside a surreal digital world – she delivered a grounded, anxious performance that contrasted sharply against the show’s chaotic visuals. The pilot became one of the most-watched independent animated videos in YouTube history. That same year, Freeman was cast as Sparkle in Honkai: Star Rail, bringing a theatrically mischievous energy to HoYoverse’s turn-based RPG. The back-to-back profile of both characters brought her name into mainstream gaming and animation conversations at once.
ENA, Web Animation, and the LizzieBiz Side
Parallel to her dubbing work, Freeman voices ENA and Moony in Joel Guerra’s surrealist web series ENA – a role requiring rapid tonal shifts between cheerful and mournful within single sentences. Away from professional productions, she runs the YouTube channel LizzieBiz, where she posts anime and video game vocal covers and parodies. The channel has accumulated over 70,000 subscribers and tens of millions of views, reflecting a fanbase that follows her work across formats.
