Persona 4 Revival

Inaba is a small town with a secret weather report. People who appear on a foggy midnight broadcast turn up dead days later, and the only way to learn why is stepping inside a television and surviving whatever waits there. Persona 4 Revival keeps that premise intact while giving its cast more room to breathe than the 2008 original could, and the Persona 4 Revival voice cast carries that extra weight the original PS2 dialogue boxes never had to. A mystery told mostly through teenagers talking lives or dies on whether the cast sounds like real friends, not exposition machines.
Nazeeh Tarsha takes the lead as the Investigation Team’s quiet protagonist, a role that demands presence without much dialogue. He’s also voiced Seth Lowell in Zenless Zone Zero, and that same restraint translates well to a character defined by reaction shots and silent judgment calls. Paul Castro Jr. plays Yosuke Hanamura, best known to gamers as Rindo Kanade in NEO: The World Ends with You, and brings the same nervous energy that made Rindo likable to a character who is constantly one step behind his own confidence. Anne Yatco, who voices Nobara Kugisaki in Jujutsu Kaisen, gives Chie Satonaka the same don’t-test-me bluntness that made Nobara a fan favorite. Brianna Knickerbocker, recognizable as Rem from Re:Zero, finds the anxious perfectionism underneath Yukiko’s polite exterior almost immediately.
That pattern holds across the rest of the Persona 4 Revival voice actors, too. People were picked for what they had already proven, not just for what they were available for. Marie gets a similarly considered choice in Ari Thrash, and the supporting Investigation Team members round out a roster built by people who clearly understood what Inaba needed. Scroll down for the full lineup, character by character, with deeper profiles on every actor who picked up a script for this one.
