Gachiakuta

Gachiakuta premiered on Crunchyroll on July 6, 2025, adapting Kei Urana and Hideyoshi Andou's Weekly Shōnen Magazine manga as a 24-episode series with sub and dub releasing simultaneously. The story follows Rudo Surebrec, a slum kid falsely convicted of murder and thrown off the edge of a floating city into the wasteland below, where discarded objects become weapons and a group called The Cleaners fight monstrous Trash Beasts for survival. Series composition comes from Hiroshi Seko, whose prior work on Dan Da Dan and Jujutsu Kaisen makes him a natural fit for action writing that keeps escalating. The Gachiakuta voice cast positions Bryson Baugus as Rudo alongside Zeno Robinson and Christopher Wehkamp in key supporting roles.
