Ninja Gaiden 4 is co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames, with producers Fumihiko Yasuda and directors Yuji Nakao and Masakazu Hirayama. The game introduces new protagonist Yakumo, a young ninja prodigy from the Raven clan whose destiny is intertwined with legendary series hero Ryu Hayabusa. Both characters are playable throughout the story. Set in a near-future Tokyo covered in miasma from an ancient curse, players battle cybernetic ninja soldiers and otherworldly creatures. Yakumo's signature ability is Bloodraven Form, a technique that manipulates blood to create massive weapons and unleash devastating Bloodbath Kill attacks. Ryu Hayabusa returns with classic moves like Izuna Drop and Flying Swallow.
