Dispatch, the 2025 superhero game that's been making waves? Picture this: you're Robert Robertson, better known as Mecha Man, a third-generation superhero whose high-tech suit just got wrecked in an epic showdown with his nemesis, Shroud. Now, instead of saving the day on the frontlines, you're stuck behind a desk as a dispatcher for the Superpowered Defense Network, managing a ragtag crew of C-list heroes trying to prove themselves. It's part management sim, part superhero drama, and the choices you make shape everything from team dynamics to who makes it out alive.

Dispatch 2025 AdHoc Studio, the Telltale Legacy, and a Superhero Comedy Built for the Booth

AdHoc’s founders Nick Herman and Pierre Shorette came from Telltale, and Dispatch reflects that directly: eight episodes, player choices that reshape relationships, and characters whose problems are more interpersonal than world-ending. The game sold over four million copies and earned a Tribeca Festival selection, with its workplace-superhero premise landing because the characters feel like people stuck in an absurd job rather than archetypes in a genre exercise. Holding that balance required performances capable of carrying both the jokes and the weight across the full episode run.

Dispatch Voice Cast: Aaron Paul, Jeffrey Wright, Laura Bailey, and the Full Ensemble

The voice cast is built around Aaron Paul, whose performance as Robert Robertson carries all eight episodes. Paul’s run as Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad established his range for characters whose vulnerability and frustration coexist at high volume, and Robert needs both. Jeffrey Wright voices Chase, the elder veteran of the team, bringing the authority he applied to his Oscar-nominated lead in American Fiction; where Paul runs hot, Wright runs cold, and the game uses that contrast deliberately. Laura Bailey voices Invisigal, drawing on game credits that include Abby in The Last of Us Part II. Erin Yvette, who voiced Clementine in Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 2, plays Blonde Blazer, a casting that quietly marks the continuity between what Telltale built and what AdHoc is making.
