Emily Pope

Emily Pope’s Role in CONTROL Resonant
The Bureau Pope oversees in Resonant is not the one she thrived in. The lockdown at the Oldest House has collapsed, hostile extradimensional forces have bled into the streets of New York, and the weight of that ongoing catastrophe sits entirely on her shoulders. Working directly alongside Dylan Faden through the Manhattan operation, Pope serves as the strategic and institutional anchor of a story that otherwise belongs to a new protagonist. Remedy’s own character spotlight notes that her scientific curiosity is still present, but dulled by years of isolation and compounding loss. Her narration of the Paranatural Manhattan trailer carries that shift clearly: the voice is still hers, but heavier.
Who Voices Emily Pope in CONTROL Resonant?
English actress and voice artist Antonia Bernath returns to the role she has inhabited across every entry in the Control series, a credit confirmed in Remedy’s fifth development diary published on September 10, 2026. Bernath also provided the facial capture and face model for Pope in the original game, making her performance genuinely integral to how the character reads on screen. Beyond the Control franchise, she is recognizable to game audiences as Syanna in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood and Wine expansion and Sierra Knox in Hitman 2, and to television viewers as Laura Edmunds in Downton Abbey and Jane Rossington in the ITV drama Nolly.
