Video Game: CONTROL Resonant

Reliability is a rare commodity inside the Oldest House, but Simon Arish has built his entire reputation on it. As the Federal Bureau of Control's Security Chief, Arish kept agents alive through the Hiss invasion of 2029, and now, seven years later, CONTROL Resonant pulls him back into the fire as Manhattan itself starts coming apart at the seams.

Simon Arish’s Role in CONTROL Resonant

Arish enters the sequel carrying something heavier than a firearm: guilt. The colleagues he lost during the Hiss incursion left a wound that never closed, and he has channelled that grief into a cold, focused mistrust of Dylan Faden, whom he holds partly responsible for what happened. Wry and unflappable under pressure, he functions as one of the FBC’s last stabilizing forces while the Bureau scrambles to contain a reality-warping resonance crisis in downtown Manhattan. Working alongside Dylan isn’t something Arish does willingly; it’s a calculated sacrifice to prevent further casualties. That tension between duty and resentment sits at the center of his arc throughout the game.

Who Voices Simon Arish in CONTROL Resonant?

Ronan Summers reprises the role he originated in the 2019 original, bringing the same grounded, no-nonsense cadence to a version of the character dealing with considerably more emotional weight. Summers is an Irish-American actor whose voice work spans genres and tones: he is the charming, quick-talking Rakan in League of Legends and lent an entirely different, hulking register to Wulfric in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. That range is exactly what Arish demands, a character who needs to read as both battle-hardened and quietly fractured in the same scene.
