Video Game: Street Fighter 6

Ingrid finally finds her own place among Capcom's roster as Street Fighter 6's Year 3 finale. A long-standing grudge against Psycho Power follows her into the present, tying her fate to old foes like M. Bison.

Ingrid’s Story Role

Long teased through guest spots in Capcom Fighting Evolution and Project X Zone 2, she finally earns full canon status here, with her backstory reconstructed specifically for the mainline series. Reuniting with Ryu drives much of her arc, though the meeting goes sideways since this version of him has no memory of their Alpha 3 encounter. Two fractured timelines, one shared history, zero recognition. The two end up sparring just for fun, building a fresh friendship out of borrowed memories rather than picking up where things left off.

Ingrid’s Fighting Style

Capcom built her as a hybrid zoning and mobility fighter, leaning on solar and cosmic energy rather than raw physical strikes. Her Super Arts climb in scale, ending with a cinematic finisher that channels full solar power into a multi-hit cosmic strike. That energy-manipulator identity sets her apart from the roster’s grapplers and rushdown specialists, rewarding players who can stack resources and time their Drive Gauge carefully.

Who Voices Ingrid in Street Fighter 6?

Rebecca Wang takes the English dub, bringing the same offbeat charm she lent to Aria in Zenless Zone Zero and Sung Jinah in Solo Leveling. Manami Numakura handles the Japanese performance, an actress whose résumé includes Pieck Finger in Attack on Titan and Kohaku in Dr. Stone. Numakura steps into a role previously held by Masako Jō, who voiced Ingrid across her earlier guest appearances in the series.
