Fumikage Tokoyami / Tsukuyomi

Dark Shadow isn’t just a Quirk for Fumikage Tokoyami; it’s an extension of his very soul, a sentient shadow creature that makes him one of the most unpredictable fighters in Class 1-A. In My Hero Academia: All’s Justice (2026), he steps onto the roster as a standout “stand-type” character whose tactical depth rewards patient, calculated play.
Tokoyami’s Story Role
Known by his hero alias Tsukuyomi, Fumikage is a first-year student in U.A. High School’s Class 1-A, widely regarded as one of the most strategically gifted aspiring heroes in his cohort. His Quirk, Dark Shadow, is a powerful sentient entity born from the darkness within him, functioning simultaneously as a weapon, a shield, and a mobility tool. During the story, his dramatic growth peaks when he unleashes Dark Shadow’s “Total Release” form against All For One himself, a show of force so overwhelming that even the supreme villain briefly considered stealing the Quirk.
Tokoyami’s Gameplay in All’s Justice
In All’s Justice, Tokoyami plays like a stand-type fighter, using Dark Shadow to intercept and nullify incoming attacks before they can even reach him. His Rising Ability, Black Abyss: Light of Baldur, triggers a full transformation that completely changes his moveset, stats, and playstyle. While transformed, he no longer flinches from any hit and becomes immune to all debuffs, trading away his Guard and Dodge options in exchange for sheer, unstoppable pressure.
