Tati Gabrielle’s Voice in Animation and Games

The Bay Area gave Hollywood one of its most compelling screen-to-voice crossover talents. Born Tatiana Gabrielle Hobson on January 25, 1996, in San Francisco, California, Tati Gabrielle has built a career that moves freely between live-action drama and voice performance. Raised by her Korean mother and African American father, she studied drama and French at Spelman College before relocating to Los Angeles. Her first major screen credit came through Disney Channel’s K.C. Undercover in 2016, and within two years she had landed a series regular role as Prudence Blackwood on Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – a character defined by sharp menace and layered loyalty that ran through 2020.

The Owl House and the Weight of Willow Park

Her voice work in animation arrived through Disney’s The Owl House, where she voiced Willow Park from 2020 to 2023. Starting as a recurring presence in season one, Willow became a main character through seasons two and three, giving Gabrielle the space to chart a young witch’s growth from self-doubt into confident leadership. The character’s journey across plant magic and deep friendship gave Gabrielle’s vocal performance an emotional range that resonated distinctly from her live-action work. Alongside The Owl House, she also voiced Addie in The Emoji Movie (2017) and Kai Li Cain in the animated film Batman: The Doom That Came to Gotham (2023), the latter set in a 1920s Gotham City and produced by Warner Bros.

Jordan A. Mun and Naughty Dog’s New Frontier

The most significant voice role of Gabrielle’s career to date arrives with Naughty Dog’s Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, the PS5 studio’s first original IP in over a decade. Announced at The Game Awards in December 2024, the sci-fi action title casts Gabrielle as Jordan A. Mun, a bounty hunter stranded on a cursed planet. Motion capture filming wrapped in August 2026, with Naughty Dog confirming the shoot as “very ambitious.” For Gabrielle – who is simultaneously a series regular on HBO’s The Last of Us as Nora and starred as Jade in the live-action Mortal Kombat II (2026) – the game marks her first lead protagonist in a major video game release. The score is composed by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
