Luisa Guerreiro’s Path from Stage to the Recording Booth

Trained at Royal Holloway, University of London and holding a distinction in Musical Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Luisa Guerreiro built her craft across a wide range of disciplines before the recording booth became part of her world. With dual British-Portuguese nationality and a base in London, her career spans theatre, screen, puppetry, motion capture, and voice work – all pursued with the same physical commitment she brings to a live stage. An Off-West End Award winner for her work with Theatre Ad Infinitum, she is also a physical comedy performer on the Cirque du Soleil database and holds advanced stage and screen combat credentials across seven weapons disciplines.

Baldur’s Gate 3 and the World of Video Game Performance

Guerreiro’s most extensive voice acting credit to date sits inside one of the most acclaimed RPGs of the decade. For Baldur’s Gate 3 (2023, Larian Studios), she voiced and provided motion capture for a roster of characters including Adept Mola, Bruha Oakhide, Chessa, Harper Callie, Hoots Hooligan, and several others spread across the game’s vast world. The role drew on both her vocal range and her background as a performance capture artist, a combination she had been building since her early work in games. Her previous game credit came in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag (2013, Ubisoft Montreal), where she voiced and provided facial recognition capture for Caroline Scott-Kenway, the first wife of protagonist Edward Kenway.

Animation, VR, and Indie Game Credits

The scope of Guerreiro’s voice work extends across formats. She voiced the East-Insulindian Repeater Station character Yvonne in Disco Elysium: The Final Cut (2021, ZA/UM), contributed voice to Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever (2020, XR Games), and provided voice talent for the Netflix animated series Bad Dinosaurs (2024, Snafu Pictures / Able & Baker), where she played a T-Rex Child and Pterodactyl. Each project reflects a performer who works comfortably across tones – from horror-tinged VR to children’s animation to the layered narrative world of Disco Elysium.

Motion Capture, Feature Films, and the Broader Career

Much of Guerreiro’s game-adjacent work sits in the motion capture space rather than pure voice recording. She provided mocap for A Plague Tale: Requiem (Asobo Studio) as Hugo and Lucas, and for Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerrilla Games) as young Aloy. On the screen side, her credits include roles in The Witcher Season 4, The Toxic Avenger, Snow White (Disney), and the Netflix series Bad Dinosaurs. She also wrote and directed the short film Cast Away, which earned a Best Actor in a Short award and a Best Female Director nomination at the World Film Festival in Cannes.
