Warner Bros. Animation's Batman: Knightfall Part 1: Knightfall is the R-rated animated film adaptation Gotham purists have been waiting for. Directed by Jeff Wamester and written by Jeremy Adams, the film adapts the 1993 DC crossover in which Bane frees Batman's entire Rogue's Gallery from Arkham Asylum, pushing the Caped Crusader to his mental and physical breaking point. The character designs lean into the aesthetics of the iconic comic covers Kelley Jones drew for the Knightfall storyline, giving the film a visual identity no prior Batman animation has matched. Schreiber played Master Chief across Paramount+’s Halo, voicing a soldier whose identity fractures under institutional pressure the same tension that drives Valley throughout the trilogy.
