Animation: Minions & Monsters (2026) (Movie)

A summoning spell meant to conjure a movie monster goes sideways for James and Henry, and what steps out of the green smoke is stranger than anything they scripted. Out of the smoke comes a tiny, freckle-faced, Cthulhu-like creature that the Minions come to know as Goomi, full name Gary Orkam Oliver Magma Ichabod the Deceiver.

Goomi’s Role in Minions & Monsters

Small in stature but big on scheming, Goomi leads the Minions to an island where two ancient, much larger creatures named Howard and Phillips wait to be thawed out. He plays along as an eager collaborator, offering to help James and Henry cast their monster picture, but the friendly act hides an agenda of his own. Henry eventually uncovers Goomi’s real plan and is captured to serve as a sacrifice before he can stop the ritual from unfolding. That plan turns out to be a cover for summoning Irene, a massive, eye-covered creature with an endless appetite for destruction. Director Pierre Coffin has compared the journey Goomi leads the Minions on to something out of a King Kong style island adventure, one filled with creatures far bigger and more frightening than James and Henry ever expected.

Who Voices Goomi in Minions & Monsters?

Trey Parker, co-creator of the long-running animated series South Park, returns to the Minion universe to voice Goomi,following his earlier turn as the supervillain Balthazar Bratt in Despicable Me 3.
