Takuya Hiramitsu

He graduated from the Department of Theater at Nihon University College of Art and joined the theater troupe Engekishūdan En (演劇集団 円) as a full member in 1979, beginning his career as a stage actor. In 1983, he also debuted as part of the comedy group Kaibutsu Land.
Voice Acting & Sound Direction
Beyond performing as a voice actor, Hiramitsu is widely recognized as a sound director (音響監督) for anime, with an extensive list of credits including major titles:

Teaching & Writing
Hiramitsu also works as a professor and voice acting instructor, sharing his expertise with aspiring performers. He authored a book titled “Ureru Seiyū ni Naru Tame ni Anata ga Ima Shinakereba Naranai 30 no Koto” (“30 Things You Must Do Now to Become a Successful Voice Actor”), drawing on his deep experience in the industry as both a director and performer.
