Riho Fushida’s Voice in the World of Anime and Games

She entered the voice acting world under Ken Production, where she spent her early career building a foundation of supporting and ensemble roles across some of anime’s most recognizable titles. Her earliest confirmed credits trace back to Shugo Chara! (2007) and its sequel Shugo Chara!! Doki, where she handled small but steady episodic work – the kind of foundational casting that shapes a seiyuu before headline roles arrive. Around that same period, Blue Exorcist and Bunny Drop also drew on her presence for background characters, situating her within a roster of mid-season productions that demanded reliable, understated performers.

Tiger and Bunny and the Role of Mary Rose

The Tiger and Bunny franchise became the clearest throughline in Fushida’s career. Debuting in the 2011 series as both a Female Announcer and the character Mary Rose, she carried that role forward into Tiger and Bunny the Movie: The Beginning, Tiger and Bunny The Movie – The Rising (2014), and ultimately Tiger and Bunny 2 (2022) – marking over a decade of continuous presence within a single beloved IP. That kind of franchise longevity reflects a professional consistency that producers and casting directors lean on, particularly for characters that reappear across theatrical and streaming continuations.

Games, Granblue Fantasy, and a Broader Range

Fushida’s work outside of anime extended into video games with confirmed credits on Lollipop Chainsaw (2012), Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (2013), Final Fantasy XIII-2 (2014), Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires (2015), and Final Fantasy: Type-0 HD (2015). On the anime side, Granblue Fantasy the Animation drew on her twice – first in the original 2017 series as Aaron (young) and a background woman in the same run, then again in Season 2 (2019) reprising the young Aaron role. Phi-Brain: Puzzle of God, Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures, and both seasons of Yowamushi Pedal round out an ensemble-heavy but wide-ranging résumé.

Office Anemone and the Current Chapter

In 2016, Fushida transitioned from Ken Production to Office Anemone – an agency founded by veteran seiyuu Kikuko Inoue. The move placed her alongside Rie Tanaka, Hitomi Harada, and Sakura Nogawa, within a boutique roster known for experienced female voice talent. Her continued casting in Tiger and Bunny 2 the same year as that Netflix-era revival signals that her working relationships within the industry remained intact through the transition. As of 2022, she remains active under Office Anemone, with the Tiger and Bunny sequel representing her most recent confirmed credit.
