Randall Park’s Voice Work and Acting Career
Born on March 23, 1974 in Los Angeles to Korean parents, Randall Park built a career that spans live-action television, film, and animation. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Creative Writing and a Master’s degree in Asian American Studies from UCLA before breaking into entertainment. His on-screen roles in Fresh Off the Boat, WandaVision, and Aquaman established him as a recognizable face in mainstream Hollywood, while his voice work across animation and video games has grown steadily alongside his acting output.
Among Us and Animation Milestones
Park’s casting as Red, the people-pleasing Captain of the Skeld, in CBS Studios’ animated adaptation of Among Us marked a significant step into lead voice acting. The project brought together a cast that includes Elijah Wood, Ashley Johnson, and Yvette Nicole Brown, placing Park in ensemble voice work rooted in social deduction and character comedy. His prior work voicing Butch in PAW Patrol: The Movie and Hunter in Strays showed a natural fit for animated and comedic voice roles, a trajectory that has continued with The Legend of Meng in 2025.
