Juan Carlos Tinoco

Juan Carlos Tinoco Ripoll is a Colombian-Mexican voice actor born in Barranquilla, Colombia (November 4, 1971), best known in Latin American Spanish dubbing as the voice of Thanos (MCU), Jiren the Gray (Dragon Ball Super), Brian Griffin (Family Guy), and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. His extensive credits span major video games including Halo, Batman: Arkham Origins, and Injustice: Gods Among Us, alongside prominent anime roles such as Whitebeard in One Piece and Douglas in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

He is best known as the Latin American Spanish voice of Thanos across the MCU, a role that brought him massive recognition among fans of Marvel films. He also voices Jiren the Gray in Dragon Ball Super and has been the recurring voice of actor and former wrestler Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson across numerous films.

Long-Running Series Roles

Tinoco has been the voice of Brian Griffin in Family Guy (from season 4 onward) and played Mayor Diamond in The Simpsons from season 16 to 31 in the Latin Spanish dub. Earlier in his career, he was the first voice of Profesor Jirafales in the animated El Chavo series.
