McCoy got his start in performance at Jenny Wiley Theatre, an outdoor stage near his hometown, and became deeply embedded in the LA theatre scene. He brought that live performance energy to Disney California Adventure, where he played Olaf in Frozen – Live at the Hyperion and Steve Rogers in Rogers: The Musical.
