Hazuki Takao’s Path Through Voice Acting and Performance
Hazuki Takao (鷹雄葉月) is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with Ken Production (Junior division). Born on August 23rd in Chiba Prefecture, her background is a striking mix of martial arts discipline, theatrical study, and cross-cultural performance. She trained in kendo through middle and high school, earning a second-dan ranking, and later studied drama at university – including the traditional Chinese performing art of Jingju (Peking Opera), which took her to stage performances in both Shanghai and Beijing. After graduating from School Duo, she joined Ken Production.

Dubbing Work and Live-Action Credits
A large portion of Takao’s output sits in foreign dubbing work, where she has taken on multiple characters within single productions. In the animated series Spirit, she covered four distinct roles – Liliana, Mabel, Mrs. Dawson, and Lang. Beyond animation, she has dubbed parts of the live-action series The Baby-Sitters Club and the British romantic drama Four Weddings and a Funeral. Her narration credits include commercials for MechaComic, Sunkus, and A-Coop.
Anime and Special Projects
On the anime side, Takao voiced Kandagawa Airi and Riko in Zenigoya, and appeared as a background student in Kibou no Chikara ~Otona PreCure ’23~. Her work also extends into planetarium productions – she voiced Endou Touko in a Fujisawa City planetarium show – as well as educational videos, audio dramas, and voice-over documentaries. In 2026, she joined the cast of Love Through a Prism, voicing the character Ben Brown.
