Demosthenes Chrysan

Demosthenes Chrysan is an American actor and voice actor from New York, best known for voicing Simeon Yetarian in Grand Theft Auto V (2013). A Drama Desk-nominated stage actor trained at NYU and Columbia, he has also appeared in Blue Bloods, Gotham, and Little America.

Chrysan is a native New Yorker with an unusually academic background for an actor — he holds a BA in Politics & History from NYU and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University. He began his acting studies under Elizabeth Dillon at HB Studios and has been working professionally since 2001.

Stage & Screen Work

He has worked with world-renowned theater directors including Bartlett Sher at Broadway’s Belasco Theatre, Doug Hughes at Lincoln Center, and Howard Davies at The National Theatre in London. He originated leading roles in world-premiere productions, including the Drama Desk-nominated Aftermath for New York Theatre Workshop.
