The name Andy Samberg has meant many things across a career built on comedy, music, and television – but a quietly substantial animation resume runs alongside all of it. Born in Berkeley, California on August 18, 1978, Samberg first broke through as part of The Lonely Island alongside childhood friends Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, landing at Saturday Night Live in 2005 where their digital shorts reshaped how the show connected with younger audiences.
