Loyalty to SeeD defines everything about this gunblade-wielding mercenary, and following orders comes before personal glory. His disguise as a ragged prisoner is meant to be his masterstroke of subterfuge, except his acting talent does not match his combat skill, and the barracks never let him forget it. Despite the rough edges of his performance, he proves his worth in the field, stepping in to rescue Lann and Reynn at a critical moment. His suspicion runs deep too, and he initially pegs Vivi and the Black Mages as Federation spies hiding among the rebels, only relenting once Vivi’s sincerity wins him over.

Who Voices the Captain in World of Final Fantasy?

Crispin Freeman provides the English voice for the Captain, also known as the Man in Rags. Freeman is widely recognized for voicing Itachi Uchiha in the Naruto franchise and Alucard in Hellsing, and Final Fantasy fans will also know him as Rude across multiple entries including Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Crisis Core.
