Oni Lady

Oni Lady’s Role and Personality
She is no passive spirit content to merely whisper instructions. When the need arises, the Oni Lady can manifest physically before Musashi, stepping out of the gauntlet to make her presence felt in more than just voice. Her dynamic with the surly, irreverent Musashi crackles with friction from their very first exchange: she flatly refuses to be called “Gauntlet Lady,” and Musashi’s eye-roll acceptance of that boundary sets the tone for a reluctant partnership that runs throughout the game. Where Musashi charges forward on instinct, she offers knowledge, unlocking abilities like Oni Vision that allow him to perceive threats invisible to human eyes. Ancient and composed, she carries the weight of knowing things Musashi has not yet earned the right to understand, making her as much an enigma as she is an ally.
