The Sorrow

The Sorrow is a supernatural boss character in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, representing the accumulated spirits of all enemies Snake has killed throughout the game. This unique encounter punishes lethal playstyles by forcing players to navigate a river filled with ghostly apparitions. Rather than a traditional combat fight, players must either avoid the phantoms to reach the end or use a revival pill after deliberately dying to skip the trial. Voiced by David Thomas.
