Carnage

Chaos isn't just Carnage's calling card in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls - it's the entire point of his existence. The psychopathic serial killer Cletus Kasady, now fused with a monstrous symbiote, enters Arc System Works' 4v4 tag team fighter as a member of the Knights of Doom, the villainous team assembled under Doctor Doom's command alongside Magneto and Green Goblin.

Carnage’s Role and Fighting Style in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls

Where most fighters in the game are defined by strategy or discipline, Carnage thrives on sheer brutality. His combat design leans hard into the symbiote’s predatory nature, with bladed arm transformations and whipping tendrils that serve as his primary tools of aggression. Landing tendril hits on an opponent triggers a “symbiote-infested” state, a temporary condition that tips the scales dramatically in Carnage’s favor. While an enemy is infested, his abilities hit harder and he can drain their health even through a defensive guard, turning what should be a contest of skill into a relentlessly one-sided assault. His Tokon Assemble Super is a direct nod to the “Carnage Shark” transformation from Donny Cates and Kyle Hotz’s story in Carnage: Black, White and Blood, where the symbiote bonded with a deep-sea predator to become something truly nightmarish. Arc System Works also gave him a redesign rooted in Japanese visual sensibilities, consistent with the game’s broader aesthetic approach to the entire Marvel roster.

Who Voices Carnage in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls?

Kellen Goff brings Carnage to life in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, a casting choice that landed well with fans upon announcement. Goff has built one of the most versatile resumes in voice acting, best known for his work as Glamrock Freddy, Sun, and Moon across the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise, as well as Kai Chisaki (Overhaul) in My Hero Academia, Diavolo in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind, and the demon scarecrow Fiddlesticks in League of Legends. His ability to channel something genuinely unnerving makes him a natural fit for a character who revels in destruction above all else.
