Elizabeth Swann

Elizabeth Swann’s Personality and Role
Sharp where others are reckless, Elizabeth processes danger through logic first and instinct second. While Will Turner and Sora charge headlong into battles driven by sheer conviction, she reads the board several moves ahead, a trait that sets her apart in a world full of impulsive pirates and Keyblade wielders. Her fierce independence has never been a performance; it runs bone-deep, forged through years spent navigating a world that expected her to stay on shore. In Kingdom Hearts III, that resolve crystallizes in the iconic moment she calls out to the crew to hoist the colors, a line that lands with the same weight as any act of courage in the game. Her relationship with Will gives her story an emotional anchor even as the supernatural chaos of Davy Jones and Heartless swarms around the Black Pearl.
Who Voices Elizabeth Swann in Kingdom Hearts III?
Eliza Jane Schneider voices Elizabeth Swann in the English version of Kingdom Hearts III, reprising the role she has carried since Kingdom Hearts II. Keira Knightley, who originated the character in the films, was unavailable for the games, and Schneider has made the role distinctly her own across multiple titles. She is perhaps best known for voicing Rebecca Crane throughout the entire Assassin’s Creed franchise, as well as for her landmark run on South Park, where she voiced dozens of female characters including Wendy Testaburger and Liane Cartman. In the Japanese version, Saori Yumiba provides Elizabeth’s voice.
