Beck

Beck’s Personality and Story Role
Beck fancies himself a corporate visionary, convinced that the right vocabulary will unlock a life of respectability. The trouble is that the words he reaches for are almost always just out of his grasp, turning every attempt at gravitas into unintentional comedy. In Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, that hustle instinct follows him beyond Midgar and into the Kalm Region, where he sets up “Beck’s Business” and even conducts job interviews, complete with buzzword-heavy recruitment posters that mangle their own spelling. Cloud ends up on his payroll long enough to take care of some fiends, only for Beck to scrap the whole enterprise the moment a pack of motorcycles comes into view. There is something oddly endearing about a man who pivots from banditry to entrepreneurship to biker gang formation within a single side quest, all while persuading his loyal crew that each new direction is the obvious next move.
Who Voices Beck in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?
Andrew Kishino lends his voice to Beck in the English version of the game. Kishino brings plenty of experience playing figures who bark louder than they bite, and fans may recognize him best as the rebel leader Saw Gerrera in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. In Japanese, Beck is voiced by Wataru Takagi, a prolific seiyuu with a long career in anime and games.
