White Rabbit

White Rabbit’s Story Role
At the heart of his crusade lies a wound that never healed. After DARKCOM agents slaughtered the Makaian community he had come to call family, the White Rabbit channeled that grief into something far more dangerous than sorrow: a mission. He leads a faction of demons in a calculated plot to shatter the barrier between the human world and Makai, seeking both vengeance against DARKCOM and liberation for an oppressed demonkind. Along the way, he strategically steals Sparda’s legendary sword, the Force Edge, and Vergil’s amulet, maneuvering Dante squarely into the center of his endgame. Sharp, composed, and operating with the cold logic of someone who has already lost everything, he functions as a foil to Dante’s chaotic, instinct-driven style. It is even the Rabbit who reveals to Dante that his brother Vergil is still alive, making him as much a catalyst for the series’ mythology as he is its chief threat.
Who Voices White Rabbit in Devil May Cry?
Hoon Lee brings the White Rabbit to life in the English dub, marking his first foray into anime voice acting. Lee is a versatile talent with deep roots in both theater and television. Audiences may recognize his voice from his long run as Hamato Yoshi/Splinter in Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012-2017), a role that demanded a similar gravity and quiet menace. On the live-action side, he built a cult following playing the razor-tongued hacker Job in Banshee and the calculating Wang Chao in HBO Max’s Warrior. His theatrical range, which includes the King in the Broadway revival of The King and I, gives the White Rabbit a theatrical weight that makes every line feel deliberate and dangerous.
