As a Labrador, a species selectively bred from wolves, Jack grew up feeling like an “artificial” imitation of the real thing, a complex that fueled early rivalry with Legoshi before blossoming into one of the show’s most genuine friendships. He is the kind of character who notices when something is wrong with the people he loves, quietly wearing Legoshi’s oversized clothes after his friend drops out, a small but telling gesture that says more than words ever could.

Who Voices Jack in Beastars?

Benjamin Diskin brings Jack to life in the English dub, a voice actor with an extraordinary range built over three decades in the industry. Diskin is widely recognized for voicing Sai in Naruto: Shippuden, Ban in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Joseph Joestar in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, so his ability to balance Jack’s warmth with subtle emotional depth is very much in his wheelhouse.
