White

Among the crewmates aboard The Skeld, White stands out as the crew's resident Contest Winner, a character whose entire worldview is built around the comfortable assumption that someone else will handle the hard parts.

White’s Personality

Spoiled, naive, and thoroughly disconnected from the everyday grind of spaceship life, White floats through each crisis with the breezy confidence of someone who has never had to worry about a single bill. The character’s defining motto, “No trauma, no drama,” says everything about their approach to impending doom. Where crewmates like Red stress over leadership and Purple drowns in suspicion, White’s task is simply labeled “Someone else will get to it,” a comedic anchor in a show full of high-stakes chaos. Their Fun Fact, that “wealth can be a personality trait,” doubles as both a joke and a character thesis.

White’s Role in the Series

The Among Us animated series is produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions and created by Owen Dennis, the mind behind Infinity Train. White joins a crew of eleven color-coded crewmates aboard The Skeld, each with a distinct job and dysfunction, forming the ensemble at the heart of the show’s impostor mystery premise. White’s oblivious privilege sets them apart from practically every other crew member, making them a natural source of comic relief whenever the stakes climb highest.

Who Voices White in Among Us?

Patton Oswalt brings White to life in the animated series. Oswalt is a veteran voice actor and stand-up comedian widely known for voicing Remy in Pixar’s Ratatouille and for his work as M.O.D.O.K. in the Marvel animated series. His comedic timing makes him a natural fit for a character whose entire arc revolves around cheerful, weaponized unawareness.

Casting Patton Oswalt as a contest winner lost in space is brilliant. Find out how the rest of the crew was chosen in our Among Us casting feature.
