Green

Green’s Personality and Role
Growing up on a worm farm, Green’s entire small rural community pooled their resources just to send him to MIRA so he could chase his dream of becoming an astronaut. That backstory alone says everything about who he is: optimistic, earnest, and almost pathologically grateful. His official character description is simply “Happy to be there,” and his assigned task is “whatever they’re told,” while his fun fact confirms he gets paid exclusively in pizza. He serves as the story’s everyman lens, experiencing the world of Among Us as a complete novice learning how the ship operates, making him the most relatable entry point for audiences unfamiliar with the game.
Who Voices Green in Among Us?
Elijah Wood, best known for portraying Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, brings Green to life in the animated series. Wood has shown strong range across both live-action and voice work, having also voiced Spyro in The Legend of Spyro game series and appeared in the live-action drama Yellowjackets. In an interview, Wood admitted that even if given the chance to pick any character in the show, he would still choose Green, a testament to how much the role resonated with him.
