Pui Pui’s Role and Personality

Pui Pui hails from Planet Zoon, a world with ten times Earth’s gravity, and he wears that origin like a badge of honor. Arrogance colors nearly every line he speaks once Vegeta steps up to face him. He even talks Babidi into teleporting the fight to Zoon itself, sure the crushing gravity will finally tip things in his favor. Vegeta, long used to training under far harsher conditions, shrugs off the advantage and ends the bout with a single Double Galick Cannon. His swift defeat aside, Pui Pui’s earlier kill of the brainwashed fighter Yamu proves he isn’t all talk, just badly overmatched.

Who Voices Pui Pui in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot?

Mike McFarland provides Pui Pui’s English voice in Kakarot, a credit that sits alongside his far more recognizable turn as Master Roshi in the same game and across the wider Dragon Ball Z dub. In Japan, Tomohisa Aso reprises the role he originated in the original anime, an actor recognized internationally for voicing Peppy Hare in the Star Fox games and Pastor Nick in Attack on Titan.
