Akira Takarada

Akira Takarada (1934–2022) was a Japanese actor and voice artist best known for playing Hideto Ogata in the original Godzilla (1954) and for his long association with the Godzilla franchise. As a voice actor, he provided the Japanese dub voices for Jafar in Disney's Aladdin and Kingdom Hearts, Professor Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective, and Bendu in Star Wars Rebels.
