Koyasu is known for his deep, smooth voice, which often lands him in roles that are either villains or lonely bishōnen. He's best known for voicing Dio Brando in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, the titular hero of Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo, Excalibur in Soul Eater, Lord Il Palazzo in Excel Saga, Kuzan / Aokiji in One Piece, among many others. He was also the writer of Weiß Kreuz.
