Sasquatch / Walter Langkowski

Sasquatch’s Story Role in Marvel’s Wolverine
Walter Langkowski occupies a uniquely uncomfortable position in Logan’s world: a brilliant physicist and founding member of Alpha Flight who once provided scientific and technical support to the Flight, the Canadian government programme that shares its shadow with the very Weapon X project that turned Wolverine into a living weapon. His transformation into Sasquatch came not from mutation but from a deliberate gamma radiation experiment, an attempt to replicate the kind of power Bruce Banner stumbled into by accident. What Walter got instead was something older and stranger, a colossal orange-furred form drawn from forces far outside the reach of any lab. That duality, the composed scientist and the barely contained giant, makes him one of the more layered presences in a cast built from Logan’s personal history rather than from the X-Men, who do not yet exist in this version of the Marvel universe.
Who Voices Sasquatch / Walter Langkowski in Marvel’s Wolverine?
Jeffrey Nordling brings Walter Langkowski to life in the English version of the game. A veteran of prestige television with serious dramatic range, Nordling is best known on screen for his role as Larry Moss in the Fox thriller 24 and as Gordon Klein in the HBO drama Big Little Lies alongside Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon. That same ability to play composed, intelligent men operating under enormous pressure is exactly what Walter Langkowski demands, a scientist who chose to become a monster and has spent years managing the consequences.
