Deadpool

A stolen game guide from beyond the fourth wall just became Wade Wilson's favorite weapon. Joining the Samurai Outriders alongside Ghost Rider, Blade, and Loki, Deadpool crashes into MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls with his usual mix of gunfire, gallows humor, and total disregard for his own health bar.

Deadpool’s Backstory and Combat Style

Wade Wilson started out as a Canadian mercenary from a rough household, later trading special forces training for a spot in the Weapon X Program after a cancer diagnosis threatened to end him. The healing serum drawn from Wolverine’s blood kept him alive, though it left his body scarred and his mind fractured. That recklessness carries straight into his moveset, where guns, grenades, and swords mix with techniques that deal damage to himself as freely as to his opponents. In Tōkon, he has somehow gotten his hands on a strategy guide from outside the game itself, letting him pull off moves lifted straight from fighting game history, including his own spin on Mortal Kombat’s Toasty callout.

Nolan North handles the English voice work, stepping back into the role after previously playing Deadpool in the character’s 2013 solo game. His comic timing and rapid-fire delivery fit right into a team built around chaos, dark humor, and heroes still figuring out how to work together.
