Green Goblin

Green Goblin’s Role in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls
Green Goblin enters the tournament as a member of the Knights of Doom, a team of supervillains assembled under Doctor Doom’s leadership alongside Magneto and Carnage. His playstyle is built around aerial dominance and calculated disruption: riding his bat-shaped glider, he pelts opponents with Pumpkin Bombs and Razor Bats before diving in for punishing close-range assaults. Nothing about his attack patterns is straightforward, which is entirely the point. The twisted logic behind every Pumpkin Bomb throw and glider dive reflects the unraveling mind of Norman Osborn, a man whose obsession with defeating Spider-Man has long overtaken any pretense of sanity. Arc System Works and artist Yuki Kato gave the character a reimagined combat suit with a distinctly Japanese design sensibility, making this one of the most visually striking iterations of the Goblin in any video game to date.
Who Voices Green Goblin in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls?
Steve Blum returns to the role for the English dub, reprising a version of the character he last played in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order back in 2019. With a career spanning hundreds of titles, Blum is perhaps best known in animation circles as Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop and Wolverine across numerous Marvel projects, a role he also holds in this very game. His deep, volatile vocal range suits the Goblin’s manic edge perfectly. The Japanese voice is handled by Kazuhiro Yamaji, a veteran performer with an extensive list of commanding roles including Bang in One-Punch Man and Kenny Ackerman in Attack on Titan. Yamaji is also deeply associated with playing villains in Japanese media, which makes him an apt choice for one of Marvel’s most iconic antagonists.
