Zuma

When the PAW Patrol's ship crashes onto an uncharted tropical island teeming with dinosaurs, every pup has a part to play and Zuma's instincts in and around water make him indispensable from the moment the team washes ashore. Returning for the third big-screen adventure in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie, the chocolate Labrador brings his trademark calm and aquatic expertise to a mission far bigger and stranger than anything Adventure Bay has ever thrown at the pups.

Zuma’s Role in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie

Zuma has always been the pup the team calls when trouble runs deep – whether it’s flooding, submerged rescues, or navigating terrain that would leave the others stranded. On the prehistoric island, that skill set becomes critical as the crew faces flooding, volcanic threats, and environments that demand someone who thrives in waterlogged chaos. The orange-geared water rescuer serves as the PAW Patrol’s aquatic anchor while the pups work alongside their new ally Rex to stop Mayor Humdinger from triggering an extinction-level eruption through reckless mining. Zuma’s hovercraft and water-based abilities, which expanded in The Mighty Movie to include the power to transform into water entirely, position him as one of the team’s most uniquely equipped members for an island disaster scenario. Cool-headed and quick to act, he represents the kind of reliable presence that a wild, dinosaur-filled rescue operation absolutely cannot do without.

Who Voices Zuma in PAW Patrol: The Dino Movie?

Nylan Parthipan returns to voice Zuma, reprising the role he first took on in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie. Parthipan, a young Canadian actor from Guelph, Ontario, is also recognized in the PAW Patrol universe for voicing Wheeler in the spin-off series Rubble and Crew, and for his work as Ice Cub in PJ Masks: Power Heroes. He made history as the first person with muscular dystrophy to voice a character in the PAW Patrol franchise, bringing both talent and meaningful representation to the role.
