A Los Angeles-based actor and voice talent, Cano has worked steadily across games, animation, television, and film since the early 2000s. His voiceover career spans both English-language game productions and anime dubs. Best known for voicing Sandman in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, King II in Tekken: Bloodline, and for his early game work in Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders, he is represented for voiceover by Dean Panaro Talent and for screen work by Bohemia Entertainment Group.

When Insomniac Games needed a Sandman who could carry genuine menace and emotional weight at the same time, they turned to Leandro Cano. His portrayal of Flint Marko / Sandman in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (2023) opens the game with a bravura action sequence – a father pushed past his limits, dangerous and desperate in equal measure. The performance set the tone for one of the most acclaimed PlayStation exclusives of its generation.

Cano’s voice work is anchored in Los Angeles, where he is represented for voiceover by Dean Panaro Talent and for theatrical work by Bohemia Entertainment Group. His roots span both live-action performance and the recording booth, giving his animated and game characters a physical grounding that distinguishes them from more purely vocal performances.

Tekken: Bloodline and the King II Role

Netflix’s Tekken: Bloodline (2022) brought the long-running Bandai Namco fighting franchise into anime form, and Cano appeared in the English cast as King II – the masked wrestler whose identity is kept deliberately hidden throughout the series. The character is one of Tekken’s most iconic figures, inspired by the real-world luchador and priest Fray Tormenta, and landing the role required conveying physical power through voice alone. Cano also appeared in a secondary capacity as a journalist in episode five, showing his range within the same production.

Live-Action Career and Early Voice Credits

Before the high-profile game and anime credits, Cano built a sustained live-action career with appearances on Without a Trace (2002), CSI: Miami, Castle, Boston Legal, and Bull. On the film side, his short Jonestown (2013) – in which he played Jim Jones – demonstrated a willingness to take on morally complex, demanding material. His early voice work reaches back to Kingdom Under Fire: The Crusaders (2004), a tactical action game developed by Korean studio Phantagram for Xbox, placing him among the cast of one of the mid-2000s’ more ambitious crossover titles. He also voiced Simon Diaz across three episodes of the podcast series Agent Stoker (2021).
