Jack Pepper

Jack Pepper is the hardboiled protagonist of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire (2026), a rubberhose-style first-person shooter developed by Fumi Games. He is an anthropomorphic mouse detective and former war hero who traded his military past for a private investigator’s trench coat in the fictional 1930s city of Mouseburg. What starts as a routine missing-person case quickly spirals into a corrupt web of murder, gang warfare, and political intrigue. Jack operates out of a small office beside “Little & Big,” a local bar, and partners with journalist Wanda Fuller to unravel the city’s darkest secrets.

Jack Pepper voiced by Troy Baker, one of the most decorated voice actors in gaming history. Baker is best known for Joel Miller in The Last of Us Parts I and II, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and Sam Drake in Uncharted 4. His five BAFTA nominations for Best Performance confirm his standing as a leading talent in the medium.
