Caretaker

The Caretaker is one of Mouseburg’s shadowy supporting characters in Mouse: P.I. For Hire (2026), the rubber hose-style first-person shooter developed by Fumi Games and published by PlaySide Studios. Set against the gritty, jazz-soaked backdrop of 1934 Mouseburg, the Caretaker fits naturally into a world crawling with crooked cops, gang muscle, and figures who blur the line between ally and threat. As private investigator Jack Pepper digs deeper into corruption and murder across the city, he encounters a roster of morally layered characters, and the Caretaker is no exception.

Caretaker is voiced by Guy Cunningham, an Australian actor and voice talent who also brings Vic Gatore and Captain F. Schifontino to life in the same game. Cunningham is best known in the games industry for voicing Ticker and Jubb Lott in Digital Extremes’ acclaimed free-to-play shooter Warframe (2013, 2020), and he has built a steady career in the Australian game voice acting community across titles like Broken Roads (2024) and Age of Darkness (2021). His range allows him to shift between gruff supporting roles and more layered character work with ease.
