Shiki Ichinose

Shiki Ichinose (一ノ瀬四季) is the main protagonist of Tougen Anki: Legend of the Cursed Blood, the action manga and anime series by Yura Urushibara. A rebellious teenager with tousled blue-black hair and sharp blue eyes, Shiki’s life is turned upside down when a Momotarou assassin kills his adoptive father Tsuyoshi and reveals that Shiki carries the blood of an Oni inside him. That single night of violence kicks off his enrollment at Rasetsu Academy, a training ground for Oni, where revenge slowly gives way to something bigger: protecting the people around him.

Despite his rough exterior, Shiki is self-aware and genuinely open to growth, which is a rare combo in shonen leads. His combat style leans heavily on firearms, making him a standout marksman who mixes gunplay with his awakening Oni powers. When he taps into his Kishin bloodline, his hair blazes bright orange and a fire aura surrounds him, a visual cue that lands every single time. He can also unlock his Oni abilities without fully awakening, a skill he develops during the Tag Arc alongside classmate Jin Kougasaki.
Japanese Voice Actor: Kazuki Ura
In Japanese, Shiki is voiced by Kazuki Ura (浦和希), a rising star from Osaka Prefecture affiliated with VIMS. Ura broke out as Yoichi Isagi in Blue Lock, his leading role debut, which earned him the Best Lead Actor Award at the 18th Seiyu Awards in 2024. His ability to portray characters caught between vulnerability and ego-driven intensity makes him a natural fit for Shiki’s arc.
English Voice Actor: Zeno Robinson
The English dub, produced by Bang Zoom! Studios, casts Zeno Robinson as Shiki. Robinson is one of the most recognized English dub VAs working today, best known for Hawks/Keigo Takami in My Hero Academia, a role that won him Best VA Performance (EN) at the 2021 Crunchyroll Anime Awards. His resume also includes Hunter/Golden Guard in The Owl House, Goh in Pokémon Journeys, and Lu Guang in Link Click, and that same blend of cool detachment and emotional undercurrent he brought to those roles fits Shiki perfectly.
