Goyen

Goyen is one of Crimson Desert‘s most memorable boss encounters,voiced by Alec Newman. found during the Unwavering Steps main quest. What makes this fight stand out is the mirror dynamic at its core: Goyen shares Kliff’s moveset almost entirely, turning the duel into a test of how well you actually know your own combat style. He wields a sword and shield with the same fluency as the protagonist, and he hits brutally hard, capable of dropping you in one or two strikes if you get sloppy. His most dangerous moment comes when he leaps into the air and crashes down with a shockwave, followed immediately by a midair kick that catches panicked players off guard. Blocking is risky here. Dodging right, letting combos whiff, then landing four heavy attacks is the safest rhythm to settle into.
