DJ Pooh

DJ Pooh voices himself across his most notable roles rather than playing fictional characters. His biggest voice work is in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, where he hosts the West Coast Classics radio station in Grand Theft Auto V (2013) and GTA Online. He later appeared in person and voice in GTA Online‘s The Cayo Perico Heist (2020) and The Contract (2021) DLC updates alongside Dr. Dre.

Beyond GTA

Outside of the GTA series, DJ Pooh has lent his voice to animation as well. He voiced supporting characters including Mudpie, Speaker #2, and Crowd Member across three episodes of The Boondocks (2005–2006). He also voiced Doela Man in the 2010 TV movie Freaknik: The Musical.

His Influence on GTA San Andreas

While not a voice actor in GTA San Andreas, DJ Pooh was co-producer and co-writer of the game, and was directly responsible for bringing Young Maylay in to voice protagonist Carl “CJ” Johnson a casting decision that became iconic.
