Aloy

Aloy’s Role as the Wandering Heroine
Back in her home world, Aloy carried the weight of saving an entire civilization, eventually discovering she was a genetic clone of the legendary scientist Dr. Elisabet Sobeck, created by a rogue AI as a last hope for humanity. That backstory of earned resilience and relentless curiosity carries over into Teyvat, where she steps in as a free five-star Cryo bow user, hurling explosive Cryo bombs at enemies before detonating them with a precise arrow shot. True to form, she treats this unfamiliar world not as a threat but as a challenge she is more than ready to face. Her passive talent even reflects her wilderness expertise, allowing party members to approach animals without startling them.
Who Voices Aloy in Genshin Impact?
Giselle Fernandez voices Aloy in the English version. On the Japanese side, Ayahi Takagaki, who also voiced Aloy in the Japanese release of Horizon Zero Dawn, returns to the role, lending continuity to the character across both languages. Takagaki has an extensive resume that includes roles in Sword Art Online and Fate/Zero.
