Valentín Fernández
Valentín Ángel Fernández and the Bilingual Edge in Indie Gaming
Buenos Aires is home base for Valentín Ángel Fernández, an Argentinian performer who can carry a character in English or Spanish and layer accents on top when a script asks for them. That language range is the core of his pitch to studios, backed by a double-walled booth he records from daily.
His early credits include the short film Raw Talent, where he played Dimitri, followed by a burst of independent game roles in 2024. Andy in Andrew’s Nightmare and The Victim in The Fear Business pointed him toward horror, a genre that shaped what came next.
Poppy Playtime and Mob Entertainment
Horror led him to Mob Entertainment’s Poppy Playtime, where he voiced Norm, Scientist #3 and Toy #1 among other parts. He came back for Chapters 4 and 5 with guard and scientist voices. In 2026 the studio cast him as The Voice in Escape From Playtime, and director Joaquin Augusto has praised his discipline at the mic.
Zephon and the Lead Role of Katari
Strategy players heard him as Jaeger R-2 in Proxy Studios’ Zephon. A bigger step arrived with Kronos Interactive’s Echoes From Ciudadela, where he took on Katari, the game’s protagonist. Director Tomas Klaric noted that his deliveries often landed ahead of schedule.
Dubbing, Animation and Commercial Spots
Animation fills another part of his résumé. He voices Shonen Boy in the Devaluados series by Matix Oviedo and worked on the Spanish dub of Phoenix Animation’s 13 Cards. Brands have hired him too, with a Volkswagen spot in 2026 and an Amazon eero commercial in 2025, both in Spanish.
Stage Roots and Screen Appearances
Theater still feeds his voice work. He played Jonathan Harker in a Dracula production with The Suburban Players, and Netflix viewers can catch him on camera as Candidate #2 in the third season of Envidiosa. He works non-union and runs remote sessions through Source-Connect, a setup that lets directors guide him live from anywhere.
