Raphael Corkhill: From British Stages to Blockbuster Game Franchises

Raised in Great Britain and trained across two continents, Raphael Corkhill built a career that cuts through some of the biggest gaming franchises of the last decade. After earning a degree at Princeton University and completing a full-scholarship MFA in acting at the University of Southern California, Corkhill moved between Los Angeles, New York, and London – keeping a foot in every major English-language market simultaneously.

His entry into games came through The Elder Scrolls Online (2014), where he voiced a range of Bosmer and Dunmer characters alongside the Ghost Snake, working under directors Margaret Tang and Rene Veilleux. Represented through voice agency Imperium 7, he moved quickly into higher-profile roles across major studios.

Call of Duty and the Weight of Viktor Reznov

The Call of Duty franchise became Corkhill’s longest-running game commitment. Starting with additional voices in Vanguard (2021), he took on Yuri Ivankov in Modern Warfare III (2023), then stepped into the iconic role of Viktor Reznov for Black Ops 6 and Black Ops 7 (2025) – a character previously voiced by Gary Oldman, carrying enormous weight among franchise fans. Mafia: The Old Country and Marvel’s Wolverine

2025 and 2026 marked back-to-back major casting wins. In Mafia: The Old Country (2025), Corkhill played Corrado Bastoni and Damiano Bastoni, adding a period crime drama to his portfolio. Then in Marvel’s Wolverine (2026), he was cast as Omega Red (Arkady Rossovich), one of Wolverine’s most dangerous rivals – a role that requires both physical menace and Slavic vocal precision. These back-to-back casting choices cement a pattern: studios reach for Corkhill when a role demands credible Eastern European gravitas.

Uncharted, Titanfall 2 and Screen Crossover

His game credits also include Shoreline Mercenaries in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (2016) and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (2017), as well as IMC Soldiers in Titanfall 2 (2016). On screen, credits span Rebel Moon Parts One and Two, NCIS: Hawai’i, Mrs. Davis, and a role in the 2026 film Paper Tiger.
