Mitsuishi graduated from high school in 1986, and entered the Katsuta Voice Actor's Academy. While attending the academy, she started working part-time as an elevator girl in the Sunshine 60 building. After that, she got a job as a clerk, but because she took a lot of off time, she was forced to resign.
